Shadows of Montmartre
Corwin founded a new realm when he drew his pattern on the way to Patternfall's final battle. He named this realm Montmartre, and styled it after Paris on Shadow Earth in the late 1800's. He humbly took the title Corwin The Great, King Under the Silver Sun. The nearby shadows were known as the Rose Circle.
Corwin's first wife was Dierdre, who Corwin married in the course of the Patternfall War. She bore him a single child, who he doted upon: La Belle Helene, born before the final showdown of the war. La Belle Helene was nearly grown before Corwin took his second wife, Lorraine (though there are rumors of numerous mistresses and bastard children — and one acknowledged bastard, Sabine).
